Full bathroom refurbishment – Clapham, London

The following refurbishment was a big job as all walls needed to be rebuilt and the pipework needed altering.  We ripped out the old bathroom, built and plastered new walls, fitted a new pump and altered the pipework so that the layout of the bathroom could be changed. We then installed underfloor heating and tiled the floors and walls. We fitted a new shower and shower enclosure as well a new basin, loo and mirror. Finally we made some custom made shelving for the space.

Isolate mains into the property

Remove the old bathroom suite and all tiles from the walls

Lift and remove lino floor covering and all the old floorboards

Fit new wooden flooring onto the existing joists

Plaster two walls

Apply new latex flooring in preparation for new floor tiles

Fit bath in position

Tile above bath on side and rear walls

Tile above new basin position

Fit a new cabinet above the basin

Fit new mirror

Fit new taps in the basin, and a bath shower mixer

Tile bathroom floor

Build and tile bath panel, so it is removable with a couple of chrome headed screws

Fit a new toilet

Fit a new towel rail

Fit new skirting board and paint

Paint the walls and ceiling

Replace the 4 spotlights within the bathroom

Fit a new bath screen

Fit a new extractor in the bathroom
